What the ?!?!

Okay, first, let me begin by saying that you SHOULD NOT READ THIS if you aren’t current with Six Feet Under. I hate it when people post spoiler information without a warning. If you want to keep reading, scroll down . . .

What the hell?!?! Okay, so I’d heard rumors of this season of Six Feet Under ending with a death. Personally, my money was on Claire given all the drug use; but, then again, I suppose that would be too obvious. So, there I am sitting on the couch hating Nate—which is odd because, until this season, I really couldn’t understand why people liked Brenda so much, yet I loved Nate—when, all of a sudden . . .

DAMN! And then we don’t even get a “next week on?!?!” After a less-than-stellar season last year, they’re going on of their way to make up for it this season. When a show leaves you sitting there with your jaw dropped open, it’s a damn good show. This is the quality of writing I fell in love with when I first began watching Six Feet Under. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to it.

Newest Quote of The Week

Granted, this is a little over a week old . . .

"I haven't shaved in a week and I'm wearing a TOOL t-shirt. Do I *look* like I'm trying to look sexy?!"

Delayed Entries

Hi all!

I had planned on posting stories from the set this past weekend, but circumstances intervened and I had to put it off. I'm on the set tomorrow and Wednesday . . . and then I have time off. Look for a posting blitz sometime right after that. I hope you all had a good weekend! Take care, everyone.

Congrats Joe!!!

I just received the following email from my friend, Joe Monks, and would like to encourage all of you to check it out. Joe is a great, GREAT guy with a truly wonderful sense of humor and I wish him the best in his future projects!!! I am so proud of you, Joe! Congratulations!!!

"Hi All,

Proving yet again that attractiveness is *not* a necessity in order to
reap the benefits of the media, yours truly snags the cover of the July
issue of Hacker's Source, talking extensively about the upcoming film project, The Bunker.

Never one to eschew shameless self-promotion, everybody please take
thirty seconds to improve the number of hits to the Hacker's Source site and
drop the editor a note letting her know just how ballsy it was of her to
pick an untested, blind director as her cover feature.

Here is the link to the site:

Today, Hacker's Source. Tomorrow, who knows where my face may appear?
America's Most Wanted? Milk cartons nationwide? Ahhh, the sky *is* the
limit...

Best,
Joe Monks

7 Minutes - I don't even know what day it is anymore.

We began filming on June 23rd and have filmed without a day off since then. Tomorrow I finally have one of those day off thingies. I won't know what to do with myself. I don't feel right walking anywhere now without holding at least one tripod, etc. LOL. Also, I think it's safe to say that every SINGLE inch of my body is in pain. Right about now, a morphine drip would be nice. LOL again. I hope everyone has a great 4th! I'll be spending my two days off celebrating my best friend in the world's birthday. Happy birthday, Dondi! You rule!!!!

Hubert Selby, Jr. Film

I'm just making a quick note to publicly thank filmmaker, Michael Dean, again for allowing me the honor of filming for him. I just received an email from him and it turns out he is using part of the interview I filmed for him in his documentary, Hubert Selby, Jr.: It/ll be better tomorrow.. It will definitely be interesting for me to see how he cut the footage I sent him. Also, with my father having surgery today, it will be very cool to be able to tell him he'll appear on film at a time when he's feeling pretty lousy. Michael Dean rules!!!
