Hi all!
I’d like to take a moment to throw some recognition someone’s way. A few weeks ago, Bill Weinman came to DeKalb for the ninth year in a row. Why does this deserve recognition, you ask? It’s the reasoning behind Bill’s visit. You see, Bill is an executive producer in LA (and a NIU grad) who comes back once a year to talk with COMS students about the entertainment business. Occasionally, he offers some of them jobs. He does this because it makes him feel good. That has to be one of the greatest things I’ve heard in a while and I say this without any job offer from Bill influencing me to do so. For that matter, he could have told me my word was god-awful and I’d still say the same thing. The world needs more genuine and kind people like Bill. Thank you, Bill, for visiting us!
Also, check out Wyland Worldwide, LLC for Bill, everyone.
Hi everyone! I got an email from Michael Dean, the LA filmmaker who had me film an interview for him, and it contained a link to his new trailer. This trailer is for the documentary I filmed the interview for. None of my footage is in it--so I can't specify what parts are mine and I don't want to imply that any of the trailer is my footage--but it's a damn good trailer. Check it out!
